Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at ME Madrid Reina Victoria was a whirlwind of contrasts, beginning with a medical emergency but undeniably softened by the kindness of the staff. Nestled in the vibrant Plaza de Santa Ana, the hotel's gorgeous design seamlessly blends modern flair with a rich cultural backdrop, making it an eye-catching gem in the city. The spacious room was a sanctuary, with a massive bed that was a delight to sink into after long hospital days, not to mention the invigorating rainfall shower that felt like a mini spa retreat. The star of my experience was the staff: from the warm welcome at check-in to Marina and Alejandro's expert guidance in navigating my language barrier, their support was invaluable during a challenging time. And let's not forget the stunning rooftop bar with panoramic views! It was a perfect spot to unwind with cocktails, even if I was alone, as the atmosphere pulsated with the buzz of Madrid. If my husband hadn't been in the hospital, I could see us relishing the premium amenities and gorgeous dining options-all crafted to reflect the essence of contemporary Spanish design, just the way I love it.
